SKLN Counterflow Cooler Introduction

The pellet cooling process is a crucial step in the granulation phase. Our SKLN series counterflow cooler is specifically designed to efficiently cool pellets characterized by high temperatures and moisture levels. This innovative cooler employs a counterflow mechanism where hot air comes into contact with hot pellets, and cool air interacts with already-cooled pellets. This method prevents surface cracks on the pellets that may result from abrupt cooling caused by direct contact between cool air and hot pellets.

With the SKLN counterflow cooler, pellets with temperatures ranging from 70 ℃ to 90 ℃ can be cooled to just slightly above room temperature, approximately 3 ℃ to 5 ℃. Additionally, the cooler effectively reduces the pellet moisture to a safe level (≤12.5%), facilitating convenient transportation and storage. The machine features a unique sliding valve mechanism for material discharge, ensuring smooth operation and efficient material discharge.
